My Netflix Addictions: Rom-Com Edition | Summer 2015

So, if you have not been able to gather by now, I really do have a Netflix Addiction. Television and movies in our culture hold so much power, they can teach us about life and loss, love and anger, and open our minds and hearts up to things that may seem impossible and make them appear possible. This for me is just a simple statement about the beauty of the film and media industry. It has this magical way of delving you into an imaginary world and make you forget about your troubles, even if for a short moment. For this reason, and many more, I felt that it was time to expand my Netflix addictions from simply TV shows to movies as well. This post constitutes the first of many posts about my favorite Romantic Comedy movies, as I have many. So, let’s get started.

This post is going to just be blockbuster Romantic-Comedies, or ones that I believe to be high-grossing, and quite popular. At a later date, I plan on listing some of my favorites that are not considered to be blockbusters in the United States, but may be elsewhere in the world (this list is already forming in my head).

My Netflix Addictions | Summer 2015

Well, it has been almost six months since my last Netflix addictions post, so I figured it was time for a new summer edition of what shows I have already watched, and I think you all should watch. If any of you would actually like to see a day to day what is new on Netflix, and what shows should be coming soon, this website will tell you all you need to know: http://www.whats-on-netflix.com . New Year, New Netflix Shows!

So everyone, a few months ago I talked about my Top 5 TV Jams on Netflix, and guess what, I’ve got a few more to add to that list. With the start of the New Year, Netflix has released a couple new TV Shows, and I have also begun watching new shows that have been on there for awhile as well. So let’s get started!

1. Marco Polo

I started watching this show because I saw this attractive son of a gun in a preview at the movie theaters on New Year’s Eve. So naturally, when they showed him shirtless, as a normal 21 year old female, I decided the show was worth my time, and I binge watched it on New Year’s Day. After watching all 10 episodes in one day, I can tell you it was quite good, and I cannot wait to binge watch the next season. Although sone of the female nudity I could’ve done without (clearly the show was made for our male counterparts), the story was extremely compelling and action packed. There was also a little Kung Fu to spice things up a bit. Although not very family friendly, it’s a good watch if you want something that has naked people and a strong plot.

My Netflix Addictions (Top 5 TV Favorites)

So, being a college student, on of my favorite ways to procrastinate is by binge watching netflix, so I figured I would give you all a list TV shows that I have been loving and watched more than once on Netflix, and then in a later post I will list my favorite movies on Netflix.

1. The Vampire Diaries:
The-Vampire-DiariesOne of my biggest guilty pleasures. I love keeping up with what is going on in these characters lives, and I have also read the books. The TV Show is so much better than the books. The new season of the show just started, and I haven’t watched it yet, so DON’T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS!!! Update from when I first started this draft: I watched the first episode of the new season, and I realized I totally forgot everything that happened previously, and I’m devastated all over again.
